Description

You will serve as the primary Database Administrator for our Redshift environment, owning the infrastructure lifecycle from migration to optimization.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and build end-to-end infrastructure on Redshift.
• Migrate on-premises database structures to the Redshift data warehouse.
• Optimize and tune the Redshift environment for performance.
• Implement workload management (WLM) and deploy monitoring, metrics, and logging systems on AWS.
• Manage incidents, problems, service requests, and application health checks.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in database administration.
• Direct experience with AWS and Redshift infrastructure.
• Proficiency in workload management (WLM) implementation.
• Experience with ETL and data application development using AWS components.
• Ability to act as a single point of contact for production or critical outages in Tableau.
• Knowledge of maintaining KEDB.
• Experience with alert management and application availability monitoring.
