Description

Manage AWS Redshift database administration, performance tuning, and data warehouse migrations.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Migrate data warehouse workloads into AWS Redshift.
• Optimize and tune Redshift clusters, databases, and SQL queries for runtime performance.
• Administer AWS Aurora and Redshift clusters, including RDS and S3 architecture.
• Implement data replication, data sharing, and logical/physical data modeling.
• Manage Redshift Workload Management (WLM) and queue management.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in database administration.
• 5+ years of experience in performance tuning, including explain plan analysis.
• 2-3 years of experience with Amazon Redshift and RDS.
• Proficiency in SQL and data modeling.
• Hands-on experience with AWS architecture, including S3 and RDS.
• 1 year of experience with Python for database automation scripts.
• Knowledge of ADFS for user access management.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Apache Airflow.
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect certification.
