Description

Provision, configure, and maintain AWS Redshift clusters and workgroups across development, test, and production environments. Own database health, performance tuning, and operational troubleshooting.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Provision and maintain Redshift clusters and workgroups across all environments.
• Manage database access, roles, permissions, and schema-level security using least-privilege principles.
• Monitor health, workload performance, storage, query behavior, and operational alerts.
• Perform performance tuning, including schema design, workload management, and SQL efficiency improvements.
• Administer backup, snapshot, restore, and recovery procedures to ensure business continuity.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience as a Database Administrator.
• Deep expertise in AWS Redshift architecture and management.
• Strong proficiency in SQL for complex queries and optimization.
• Experience with Oracle databases and general DBA practices.
• Knowledge of database security, patching, and release management.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field.
