Description

Manage and optimize AWS Redshift database environments to support complex data requirements.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Manage databases, user tables, indexes, and statistics within Redshift.
• Administer user permissions and resolve database access issues.
• Solve complex technical problems related to data architecture and performance.
• Research and implement new technologies to improve database efficiency.
• Collaborate with global teams and provide training to other team members.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in a Redshift DBA role.
• Expertise in AWS Redshift administration.
• Advanced SQL proficiency.
• Hands-on experience with Redshift Spectrum and S3.
• Experience with AWS Aurora and DynamoDB.
• Knowledge of AWS EMR and Athena.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively with ambiguous or changing requirements.

Preferred Skills

• Any Graduate degree.
