Description

Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of cloud security infrastructure within an AWS environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement security architecture covering IAM, network security, data protection, and threat detection.
• Develop and execute migration strategies to transition on-premises servers and applications to AWS.
• Lead incident response efforts, including investigation, containment, and remediation of security breaches.
• Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans to mitigate risks.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to integrate security into the development lifecycle.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience with AWS security services including IAM, KMS, VPC, Security Groups, NACLs, WAF, Shield, Inspector, GuardDuty, and Macie.
• 7+ years of experience with cloud migration strategies and tools.
• 7+ years of experience with infrastructure as code using Terraform.
• 7+ years of proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and Bash.
• 7+ years of experience with CI/CD pipelines including Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or AWS CodePipeline.
• 7+ years of experience with networking concepts including routing, firewalls, and VPNs.
• Strong understanding of AWS security best practices and industry standards.

Preferred Skills

• AWS Security Specialty certification.
