Description

You will audit, design, and implement security controls for our containerized AWS environment.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Implement container scanning workflows using Prisma or custom tools.
• Engineer a formal Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) framework to replace rudimentary implementations.
• Design and implement network policies, Service Mesh configurations, and mutual TLS (mTLS) for service communication.
• Secure sensitive data, including etcd stores and secrets, while establishing backup protocols.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in cloud security or related engineering roles.
• Expertise in RBAC design and implementation.
• Experience securing data and managing secrets.
• Knowledge of backup strategies for etcd and application data.
• Ability to implement security policies via code.
• Experience with container security and non-root user configurations.
• Understanding of network policies and Service Mesh.
• Knowledge of mutual TLS (mTLS) for service communication.
• Experience with container scanning tools like Prisma.
