You will secure cloud infrastructure and provide technical guidance to application teams on security concerns.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Review platform changes for infrastructure security risks and research potential vulnerabilities.
• Articulate security issues to application teams and provide infrastructure-level support to secure systems.
• Harden Linux environments using PAM, SELinux, SSHD, and auditd.
• Manage cloud security configurations including IAM, VPC Security, and KMS.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of experience in infrastructure and security.
• 8+ years of relevant security experience.
• 3+ years securing cloud platforms (AWS, IAM, VPC Security, KMS).
• 3+ years hardening Linux environments.
• 6+ years with IaC and configuration management (Terraform, Puppet).
• Knowledge of basic cryptography and common network protocols.
• Understanding of containers and Kubernetes.
• Experience with SQL and securing databases like MySQL or Snowflake.

Preferred Skills

• CISSP, GCP/AWS Cloud Security Engineer, or similar certifications.
• Experience securing large GCP environments.
• Experience with HashiCorp Vault, SIEM, SOAR, XDR, or HIDS/NIDS tooling.
