Description

You will design and engineer secure AWS-based data and analytics platforms, owning the infrastructure and security posture. You will lead Kubernetes rollouts, establish compliance standards, and coordinate security policies with the global team.

Responsibilities

• Architect and engineer security solutions for AWS-based data and analytics platforms.
• Manage, maintain, and improve AWS cloud infrastructure and big data pipelines.
• Lead Kubernetes-based rollouts and establish security and compliance standards.
• Create and manage security policies in coordination with the global security team.
• Provide technical documentation for all infrastructure and security initiatives.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience operating on-prem and cloud infrastructure and applications.
• Hands-on experience with AWS compute, security, storage, logging, and monitoring.
• Deep knowledge of AWS services: S3, EC2, EKS, EMR, Lambda, Redshift, Glue, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch, and KMS.
• Proficiency with container technologies including AWS EKS, Kubernetes, Docker, and AWS ECS.
• Experience with orchestration tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
• Experience building and optimizing big data pipelines using Spark or similar technologies.
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes security.
• Linux systems expertise (Redhat/CentOS) including DNS, DHCP, NFS, SYSLOG, SSH, SFTP, and SSL.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
