Description

You will manage and improve the security posture of AWS environments through automation, monitoring, and incident response.

Responsibilities

• Implement and manage security controls, monitoring, and alerts on AWS infrastructure to ensure policy compliance.
• Lead investigations into security incidents by analyzing logs and executing incident response plans.
• Develop security automation scripts using AWS Lambda and other services to streamline processes.
• Manage continuous monitoring of infrastructure, analyzing CloudTrail and VPC flow logs to detect unauthorized access.
• Integrate security practices throughout the SDLC by collaborating with development, operations, and architecture teams.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in cloud security, specifically within AWS environments.
• Deep understanding of AWS security services including IAM, CloudTrail, GuardDuty, KMS, and WAF.
• Proficiency in security automation and scripting with Python and Shell.
• Strong knowledge of networking concepts including VPC, subnets, VPNs, NACLs, and Security Groups.
• Experience with container security, specifically Kubernetes and EKS.
• Hands-on experience with vulnerability scanning and risk assessment tools.
• Proven ability to manage incident response procedures and forensic investigations.
• Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with a focus on security best practices.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with CI/CD security practices.
• Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools such as Splunk and Datadog.
