Description

You will manage and implement SRE practices to improve service reliability and automation at scale.

Responsibilities

• Create and drive an SRE backlog by working with senior stakeholders to define reliability requirements.
• Develop and implement services to improve IT and support teams through production code changes and monitoring adjustments.
• Build proprietary tools from scratch to mitigate weaknesses in incident management and software delivery.
• Optimize CI/CD pipelines and automate on-call processes.
• Manage dependencies across teams and troubleshoot support escalations.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of professional experience.
• Mastery of AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, Lambda, CloudFormation, and AWS CLI.
• Proficiency in Python or Ruby for automation tool development.
• Deep working knowledge of monitoring and log analytics tools such as Dynatrace, Grafana, Splunk, CloudWatch, and X-Ray.
• Expertise in CI/CD pipeline setup and maintenance using Jenkins, AWS CodeBuild, AWS CodeDeploy, and AWS CodePipeline.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts and negotiate reliability standards with engineers, managers, and executives.
• Experience managing cross-team dependencies and incident reporting.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with software engineering aspects of service development.
