Description

Design and modernize data platform architectures using AWS and Snowflake.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Gather business requirements to define data architecture and target Snowflake data models.
• Collaborate with architecture teams to suggest improvements for modernizing existing data platforms.
• Integrate data from multiple source systems into Snowflake databases.
• Develop scripts to load data into AWS S3 staging areas and Snowflake data warehouses.
• Build EMR and Lambda scripts to manage data loading processes.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in data architecture or engineering.
• Expertise in Snowflake and AWS cloud services including S3, EMR, Glue, Athena, and Redshift.
• Strong proficiency in SQL.
• Deep understanding of Star Schema, Snowflake Schema, Fact, and Dimension tables.
• Experience developing data loading pipelines using AWS Lambda and EMR.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
