Description

You will design and build event-driven services on AWS using Scala.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain services using Scala and event-driven architecture.
• Implement and manage message queues with SQS, Kafka, Kinesis, and RabbitMQ.
• Deploy and manage applications within Kubernetes (EKS).
• Design data persistence layers using SQL and NoSQL solutions.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Expertise in Scala.
• Hands-on experience with message brokers (SQS, Kafka, Kinesis, RabbitMQ).
• Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases (DynamoDB, RDS).
• Experience deploying and managing applications in EKS.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with event-driven design patterns.
