You will design and execute cloud migration strategies on AWS.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Migration Portfolio Assessments (MPA) and Migration Readiness Assessments (CAF) across business, governance, security, and operations.
• Define 7R application dispositions, dependency mapping, migration wave planning, and TCO/risk analysis.
• Design scalable, secure, and resilient AWS architectures to replace on-prem data center infrastructure.
• Develop target-state architectures, migration blueprints, and reference architectures aligned with the AWS Well-Architected Framework.
• Establish cloud governance, compliance, and cost-management (FinOps) practices.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of relevant experience in cloud architecture.
• Expertise in designing architectures using EC2, ECS, EKS, RDS, S3, Lambda, and CloudFront.
• Proficiency with infrastructure as code using CloudFormation.
• Strong knowledge of AWS security controls, including IAM, KMS, VPC security, and GuardDuty.
• Experience implementing DevOps and automation best practices.
• Ability to lead application assessments and dependency discovery.
• Familiarity with lift-and-shift, re-platforming, and re-architecting strategies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with FinOps practices.
