Description

You will design and build an enterprise data platform to support analytical solutions for internal clients. You will shape new analytical solutions, collaborate with data engineering and science teams, and maintain enterprise-scale data lakes. You will implement cloud monitoring, ensure resource availability, and enforce enterprise IT security requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design and build enterprise-scale data lakes and integration workflows.
• Implement cloud monitoring and alerts to ensure resource availability.
• Ensure application architectures meet enterprise IT security requirements.
• Collaborate with data engineering, product managers, and data science teams.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in application/platform engineering, business intelligence, or analytics.
• 4+ years of experience in AWS cloud data engineering, management, or architecture.
• Proficiency with AWS services: S3, EC2, RDS, Lambda, CloudFormation, Kinesis, Data Pipelines, EMR, Step Functions, VPC, and IAM.
• Experience with data warehousing platforms such as Snowflake or Redshift.
• Strong knowledge of DB technologies: SQL, Python, PostgreSQL, AWS Aurora, AWS RDS, MongoDB, and Redis.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and automation: GitHub Actions, Jenkins, AWS Code Pipeline, CloudFormation, or Terraform.
• Expertise in IAM roles, policies, and security groups.
• Strong scripting skills in Python and/or PowerShell.
• Experience managing PaaS and SaaS application performance.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with large-scale enterprise streaming services like Kafka.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, or AWS Fargate.
• Experience implementing applications across Windows and Linux server operating systems.
