Description

You will design, implement, and manage end-to-end AWS infrastructure to meet business requirements from external collaborators.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end infrastructure architectures using Draw.io and deliver solutions on the AWS cloud platform.
• Guide scientists and external collaborators through the infrastructure delivery process, including service provisioning and NVS infrastructure utilization.
• Implement data transfer solutions between external vendor accounts and internal accounts.
• Manage data protection, backup, recovery, disaster recovery, and high availability strategies.
• Collaborate with developers, architects, and project managers to ensure successful solution delivery.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as an AWS Solution Architect and DevOps professional.
• Deep proficiency with AWS services including EC2, VPC, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudFront, EBS, EFS, ASG, IAM, ELB, DataSync, Route53, EKS, and ECS.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD implementation using Jenkins, Ansible, AWS CloudFormation, and Terraform.
• Experience with containerization technologies including Docker, Kubernetes (K8S), and HPC.
• Technical expertise in Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Proficiency with monitoring and logging tools such as CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and Splunk.
• Strong scripting and data analysis skills using Python, Bash, and SQL.
• Knowledge of virtualization, on-premises storage, and network connectivity.
• Ability to work according to US time zones.

Preferred Skills

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect certification.
• Experience within the life sciences industry and familiarity with GxP, HIPAA, and FDA regulations.
