Description

Design and implement end-to-end system, business, and data architectures within the AWS ecosystem.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Review business and technical requirements to drive solution development throughout the project lifecycle.
• Create target state architectures that align with corporate IT standards and support business partners.
• Evangelize best practices, proven patterns, and enterprise integration patterns.
• Escalate architecture issues while ensuring application resiliency and performance optimization.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of related experience in solution architecture.
• Hands-on application solution design using AWS native services.
• Data analytics solutioning using EMR, Redshift, and Athena.
• Proficiency with Apache Spark, Python, or R.
• Experience analyzing SaaS/COTS solutions and recommending integration architectures.
• Ability to provide security architecture for applications and SaaS solutions.
• Knowledge of Event Driven Architecture, API, Web services, SOA, and Micro Services.
• Understanding of enterprise data containers including TDS, ODS, Data Warehouse, DataMart, and Data Lakes.
• AWS Solution Architect Associate or Professional certification.

Preferred Skills

• Mortgage industry knowledge.
• Understanding of Advanced Analytics, Data Science, and ML.
