Description

You will design and lead cloud migration, optimization, and security strategies for applications moving from on-premises to AWS.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement cloud architecture solutions for migrating applications from on-premises to AWS.
• Define infrastructure best practices using ECS/Fargate, EC2, VPC networking, and security protocols.
• Lead Infrastructure as Code (IaC) implementation using Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.
• Enforce AWS IAM policies, roles, security groups, and access controls to ensure secure connectivity.
• Optimize ECS configurations for self-scheduling watchdogs and automate deployment pipelines.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of experience in system development, with 5+ years specializing in AWS architecture.
• Deep expertise in AWS services including ECS, Fargate, EC2, VPC, IAM, RDS, and S3.
• Proficiency in Java-based web application development for monolithic and microservices architectures.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, AWS CDK, or CloudFormation.
• Strong container orchestration skills using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS/ECS).
• Experience managing CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline, or GitLab CI/CD.
• Advanced networking knowledge covering VPC peering, Transit Gateway, and secure traffic routing.

Preferred Skills

• Practical experience with cloud monitoring tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, ELK Stack, or Grafana.
• Knowledge of IBM MQ messaging and disk-based certificate authentication.
• Cost-optimization strategies and performance tuning for fault-tolerant system designs.
