Description

You will lead cloud migration projects, moving applications from on-premises environments to AWS.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end migration projects using rehosting, re-platforming, and refactoring techniques.
• Manage data transfers and workload migrations using AWS Migration Hub, Application Discovery Service, DMS, and SMS.
• Collaborate with server, database, application, network, and security teams to ensure seamless integration.
• Provide technical guidance, troubleshoot migration issues, and mentor junior team members.
• Create detailed technical documentation in both English and Japanese.

Required Skills

• 8-10 years of hands-on experience in cloud migration projects.
• Deep expertise in AWS cloud environments.
• Proven experience with AWS Migration Hub, Application Discovery Service, Database Migration Service (DMS), and Server Migration Service (SMS).
• Bilingual proficiency in Japanese (N2 certification) and English (reading, writing, and speaking).
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer certification.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Experience managing hybrid cloud architectures and large-scale data migrations.

Preferred Skills

• Additional cloud certifications in Azure or Google Cloud.
