Description

Build and support data and analytics applications within an AWS environment using Glue, EMR, Lambda, and Step Functions.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop applications using AWS data and analytics technologies including Glue, EMR, Lambda, and Step Functions.
• Collaborate with technical leads and development teams to define and implement application capabilities.
• Test and support technical solutions within Agile teams using full-stack development tools.
• Implement and continuously improve software engineering practices.
• Utilize AWS services such as CloudWatch, SNS, SQS, S3, VPC, EC2, RDS, IAM, and CloudTrail.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in software development.
• Proficiency in Java, Python, and Scala.
• Strong experience with Spark SQL.
• Hands-on experience with AWS Glue and EMR.
• Experience with AWS serverless and messaging services including Lambda, Step Functions, SNS, and SQS.
• Knowledge of AWS infrastructure components like S3, VPC, EC2, RDS, and IAM.
• Ability to work effectively within Agile methodologies.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
