Description

You will design, develop, and implement cloud-based data solutions and architectures on AWS.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement end-to-end cloud architectures using AWS Glue, Athena, Redshift, and RDS.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions, including HLDs, LLDs, and Work Breakdown Structures.
• Lead architectural decisions for application migration, hosting, and disaster recovery strategies.
• Conduct cloud readiness assessments, define target architectures, and provide cost estimations.
• Manage multiple cloud solution projects while providing design guidance and POC support to managed services teams.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering and cloud infrastructure.
• Expertise in Python and PySpark for data processing and analysis.
• Deep knowledge of AWS Data and Analytics stack: Glue ETL, Glue Data Catalog, Athena, Redshift, and DynamoDB.
• Hands-on experience with AWS core services: S3, EC2, VPC, RDS, Lambda, Step Functions, Event Bridge, and API Gateway.
• Proficiency with containerization using ECS and ECR.
• Strong understanding of networking and infrastructure: Route 53, ELB, EBS, and CloudWatch.
• Solid command of SQL and Spark.
• Experience working with BitBucket and Jenkins.
• Ability to work within onshore-offshore models and collaborate with global teams.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AWS QuickSight for data visualization.
