Description

You provide L2/L3 support for AWS-based data platforms in the telecom domain.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance ETL pipelines using Glue, Iceberg, Athena, and Redshift.
• Monitor production jobs, resolve failures, and optimize queries to ensure SLA adherence.
• Develop automation scripts for operational workflows using Python.
• Collaborate with architects and business teams to gather data requirements.
• Implement best practices for data governance, security, and cost management.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in AWS Data Engineering or Support Engineering.
• Expertise with Python, S3, Redshift, Glue, Lake Formation, IAM, and ETL Frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Iceberg table format, schema evolution, and partitioning.
• Strong understanding of data ingestion, transformation, and orchestration using AWS Glue (PySpark/Python).
• Experience troubleshooting ETL failures and performance bottlenecks in cloud environments.
• Familiarity with telecom domain concepts, including CDR processing and network KPIs.
• Proficiency in monitoring cloud workloads using CloudWatch and CloudTrail.
