Description

You will manage and maintain multiple AWS accounts and infrastructure resources. You will establish configuration, compliance, and audit programs to ensure account integrity. You will monitor cloud resources, cost drivers, compute, storage, and networking to optimize rightsizing and elasticity. You will maintain cloud-based servers by patching vulnerabilities, managing backups, provisioning servers, and configuring firewalls. You will manage account containerization and tagging for internal cost centers and client billing. You will use AWS Config and CloudTrail to track resource configurations, remediate drift, and conduct compliance audits.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain configuration, compliance, and audit programs for AWS accounts and resources.
• Monitor cloud resources, cost drivers, compute, storage, and networking to optimize rightsizing and elasticity.
• Maintain cloud-based servers through patching, backup management, provisioning, and firewall configuration.
• Manage account containerization and tagging to support internal cost centers and client billing.
• Use AWS Config and CloudTrail to track resource configurations, remediate drift, and conduct compliance audits.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of Cloud Administration experience.
• AWS Certification (required).
• Hands-on experience with AWS and/or Azure environments.
• Strong system administration skills in both Windows and Linux environments.
• Experience with automation using SaltStack, Puppet, Chef, or Ansible.
• Technical knowledge of IT infrastructure, including switches, routers, server operating systems, and storage arrays.
• Experience implementing security controls using AWS Security Hub, GuardDuty, and AWS Audit Manager.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with monitoring tools, middleware software, and ITSM tools.
• Working knowledge of ITIL principles and processes.
