Description

You will lead technical implementations of end-to-end Data Lakes on AWS.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Data Lake architectures from various data sources.
• Write and maintain PySpark or Scala code within AWS Glue.
• Manage data security through IAM roles, user policies, and S3 bucket policies.
• Lead technical scoping, solution design, and client interactions.
• Monitor system health and troubleshoot using CloudWatch and logs.

Required Skills

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect certification.
• 10+ years of total professional experience.
• 3-4 years of hands-on experience with AWS Glue and PySpark or Scala.
• Proven track record of 1-2 end-to-end Data Lake implementations on AWS.
• Strong experience with AWS Athena for querying.
• Proficiency in AWS CloudFormation for infrastructure as code.
• Deep knowledge of AWS IAM, user policies, and data security protocols.
• Experience with AWS CloudWatch and log querying.
• Ability to work effectively as both an individual contributor and a team lead.

Preferred Skills

• Hands-on exposure to AWS Lake Formation.
