Description

Design and implement scalable cloud architecture and platform features to improve service reliability and engineering productivity.

Responsibilities

• Develop platform features like Progressive Delivery to enhance managed cloud service reliability.
• Partner with Site Reliability Engineers to design and implement reliability solutions.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineers to deliver technical solutions.
• Contribute software tests and participate in peer reviews to maintain codebase quality.
• Mentor peers through knowledge sharing and technical collaboration.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of software engineering experience using object-oriented languages.
• Proficiency in Golang or Python.
• 5+ years of experience delivering hosted cloud services.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience working with AWS.
• 2+ years of experience with Kubernetes and containerization on Linux.
• 2+ years of experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
• Strong understanding of platform engineering, including CI/CD, automation, orchestration, and monitoring.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred Skills

• AWS Certified DevOps Engineer certification.
