Description

Architect and migrate cross-domain business capabilities from legacy systems to private and public clouds using AWS.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Produce conceptual, solution, and component-level architectures for cloud migrations.
• Develop transition and target state architectures using AWS and private cloud services.
• Migrate legacy applications to cloud environments using established design patterns.
• Build common components for shared business capabilities following industry standards.
• Mentor technical teams and guide decisions on complex technology choices.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of experience in technical architecture and development.
• Deep expertise in AWS services: Lambda, EC2, S3, EKS, RDS, SQS, DynamoDB, SNS.
• Hands-on AWS networking: VPCs, Subnets, Security Groups, Transit Gateway, ALB/NLB, Route53, API Gateway.
• Strong proficiency in Java, Python, or Golang.
• Extensive containerization experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and ECS/ECR.
• Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and GitLab.
• Security protocols: mTLS, x509, OpenID Connect, JWT, OAuth2, SAML.
• Deep understanding of TCP/IP, UDP, DNS, and HTTP.
• Experience with microservices, event-driven, and REST architecture patterns.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Kafka, Spring, Redis, OpenShift, or Guidewire.
• Experience working within the SAFe framework or similar agile methodologies.
