Description

You will manage and resolve technical incidents within AWS environments to ensure service stability.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact for incident management, assessing severity and prioritizing based on impact.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex incidents involving AWS services by collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for significant incidents and document findings to prevent recurrence.
• Monitor incident trends to identify potential areas for process improvement.
• Participate in shift work to maintain 24x7 coverage and provide technical mentorship to junior members.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in incident management, specifically within AWS environments.
• Proficiency with AWS Console and AWS CLI.
• Hands-on experience with EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and VPC.
• Experience using CloudWatch, OpsGenie, and PagerDuty for monitoring and incident response.
• Knowledge of Python or Bash for scripting and automation.
• In-depth understanding of ITIL frameworks and incident management best practices.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to resolve complex technical issues under pressure.
• Ability to communicate technical status and resolutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
