Description

Design and maintain AWS infrastructure to support strategic initiatives. Own the release pipeline and ensure system reliability.

Responsibilities

• Configure and maintain AWS services including EC2, IAM, S3, Route 53, Lambda, SQS, Secret Manager, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, VPC, and RDS.
• Perform database administration on Aurora Postgres and architect backup, restore, and disaster recovery solutions.
• Manage application deployment, upgrades, and fixes for Jira, Confluence, and qTest in Linux environments.
• Execute cloud security remediation and research new technologies to meet business needs.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of IT experience in design and development of web and cloud-based applications.
• 3+ years of hands-on AWS experience (EC2, VPC, S3, EBS, IAM, RDS, CloudWatch).
• Experience designing serverless web applications using AWS Lambda and API Gateway.
• Proficiency in Shell scripting within Linux (Amazon Linux, CentOS) and experience with AWS CLI.
• Hands-on experience with AWS Data Migration Services and knowledge of ECS, ECR, and Application Load Balancers.
• Experience in cloud network architecture, including VPN tunnels, VPC peering, and multi-account VPC setups.
• Experience configuring CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or CodePipeline.
• Skills in C#, Bash Shell Scripting, and JavaScripting.

Preferred Skills

• Unix Administration experience and Object-Oriented programming with C# and SOAP/RESTful Web Services.
• Splunk experience, specifically consuming HTTP forwarders and end-to-end monitoring.
