Description

Design, develop, and maintain cloud-native Java applications and ETL pipelines on AWS, focusing on modernizing legacy systems and ensuring data integrity.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Refactor and migrate in-house legacy applications to AWS cloud environments.
• Design and build enterprise-level Data Lakes using AWS services.
• Develop, test, and debug Java-based backend systems and ETL pipelines.
• Validate data accuracy and integrity by querying RDMS databases.
• Monitor application performance, optimize for cost and security, and conduct code reviews.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java, J2EE, Hibernate, and Spring Framework.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services for cloud-native architecture.
• Experience building and maintaining ETL pipelines with cloud-based tools.
• Proficiency in SQL, including complex queries, debugging, and performance tuning.
• Solid understanding of RDMS databases and data modeling.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum frameworks and DevOps practices.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with data analytics tools such as PowerBI or AWS QuickSight.
