Description

You will lead the migration of applications and workloads from Pivotal Cloud Foundry to Azure Kubernetes Service.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive migration strategy covering assessment, planning, and execution.
• Evaluate existing PCF applications for compatibility and readiness for Azure AKS.
• Containerize applications and optimize them for Azure AKS deployment.
• Configure and deploy applications on Azure AKS following Kubernetes best practices.
• Create automation scripts and pipelines for AKS deployment using Azure DevOps.

Required Skills

• 8-10 years of overall IT experience.
• Minimum 2 years hands-on experience migrating from PCF to Azure or AWS.
• Proven track record of migrating applications from PCF to Azure AKS.
• Strong expertise in Azure Networking: Virtual Network, Load Balancer, Firewall, Routing Services, DNS, WAF, NAT.
• Deep understanding of containerization, specifically Docker and Kubernetes.
• Ability to design, create, and maintain Helm charts for Kubernetes clusters.
• Proficiency in Azure services: Azure AKS, Azure Container Registry, and Azure DevOps.
• Scripting and automation skills using PowerShell, Bash, or Python.

Preferred Skills

• Experience managing Azure Subscriptions and Resource Groups.
• Knowledge of security and compliance best practices in Kubernetes environments.
