Design, develop, and maintain scalable API solutions on the Azure platform, ensuring security, performance, and seamless integration across enterprise systems.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement RESTful APIs and integration solutions using Azure API Management, Functions, and Logic Apps.
• Develop backend services and microservices using C#/.NET or Java/Spring Boot, adhering to microservices best practices.
• Enforce API security and governance by implementing OAuth2, JWT, and rate-limiting policies via Azure Key Vault and APIM.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions for automated testing and deployment.
• Monitor API health using Azure Monitor and Application Insights, optimizing for reliability and scalability while mentoring junior developers.

Required Skills

• 9+ years of software development experience with a Bachelor's degree.
• Expertise in Azure API Management, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Service Bus, and Event Grid.
• Proficient in C#/.NET or Java/Spring Boot with deep understanding of RESTful API design principles.
• Strong experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, including data modeling and optimization.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools, specifically Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions, and Git version control.
• Familiarity with Agile or SAFe methodologies and experience conducting code reviews.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SOAP protocols and legacy system integration.
• Proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure as code.
• Strong leadership and communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
