Description

Lead the architecture and deployment of enterprise-grade Azure API Management solutions for internal and external APIs.

Responsibilities

• Architect and deploy Azure API Management services to meet complex enterprise requirements.
• Configure API backends using Azure Kubernetes Services, Application Gateway, WAF, and networking configurations.
• Implement authentication, authorization, and governance policies for access control and rate limiting.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform and manage API lifecycles via CI/CD pipelines.
• Deploy and customize the Azure API Management Developer Portal and monitor performance metrics for scalability.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in cloud architecture and API management.
• Extensive hands-on experience deploying and managing Azure API Management services.
• Proficiency with Terraform for infrastructure as code.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools and automated deployment practices.
• Deep understanding of RESTful, SOAP, and GraphQL API types.
• Expertise in API security standards, authentication, and authorization protocols.
• Experience with Azure Kubernetes Services, Application Gateway, and WAF.
• Familiarity with Azure monitoring and analytics tools.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.

• Azure certifications.
