Description

You will architect, develop, and migrate enterprise APIs and integrations to Azure cloud services using Python. This role involves leading technical execution, ensuring high performance, and applying GenAI tools to improve delivery speed.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Architect and develop Azure APIs and applications in Python on integration services such as API Management, Functions, Service Bus, and Kubernetes.
• Execute migrations of existing APIs to Azure, defining work items, refactoring patterns, and coordinating cutover to minimize downtime.
• Build and secure APIs in Azure APIM using policies, OAuth 2.0, Entra, and client certificates (mTLS).
• Troubleshoot production issues, prioritize support tasks, and establish actionable observability using Azure monitoring and Splunk.
• Automate CI/CD processes, manage source control in GitLab, and deploy containerized workloads via Azure Kubernetes.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of enterprise development experience with 6+ years in Azure integration and API management.
• 6+ years of hands-on experience developing in Python.
• Strong expertise in Azure API Management (APIM), Azure Functions, Service Bus, and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Azure Key Vault, Entra, and OAuth 2.0 for API security.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform or OpenTofu, and Azure CLI.
• Ability to implement API-led and event-driven integration patterns with effective CI/CD automation.
• Experience troubleshooting with Azure monitoring tools and external observability platforms like Splunk.
• Knowledge of MS SQL Server and Oracle DBaaS relational database systems.

Preferred Skills

• Experience applying GenAI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) to craft prompts, validate outputs, and accelerate software delivery.
• Expertise in designing complex data transformations with reusable libraries for multi-level mappings.
