Description

You will own the design, implementation, and operation of API services within the Azure ecosystem.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design systems and document roadmaps, estimated costs, and phased timelines for API implementation.
• Develop and implement APIs connecting vendor front-ends to MNIT back-ends in Azure.
• Configure Azure API Management policies for security, performance optimization, and usage monitoring.
• Ensure applications meet ADA accessibility and WCAG 2.1 standards.
• Conduct performance testing and propose continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills

• 3+ years experience with Azure API Management.
• 3+ years experience developing RESTful APIs.
• 5+ years of C# application development experience.
• 3+ years experience with .NET development utilizing SQL Server database(s).
• Experience developing and scaling Azure API solutions end-to-end, including Azure DevOps CI/CD.
• Experience implementing API management solutions adhering to security policies and optimizing performance.
• Experience replacing and modernizing legacy systems.
• Experience integrating with legacy systems.
