Description

You lead application discovery, technical assessment, and migration readiness for workloads moving to Azure.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate application architecture, integrations, data flows, and current Azure footprint to recommend migration approaches.
• Estimate effort, identify risks and dependencies, and support wave planning.
• Migrate Microsoft Dynamics workloads and a range of Azure services using standard tools and repeatable methods.
• Produce assessment reports, target diagrams, dependency views, and decision logs.
• Communicate risks and recommendations to the Azure Migration Architect and stakeholders.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in cloud architecture or migration.
• Hands-on experience migrating Microsoft Dynamics workloads.
• Proficiency with Azure Migrate (discovery, assessment, dependency analysis) and Azure Resource Graph.
• Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, Azure CLI, and/or Python for automation.
• Experience with migration tools: Azure Site Recovery (ASR), Azure Database Migration Service (DMS), and AzCopy.
• Familiarity with Log Analytics / KQL for telemetry-led discovery.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework and Azure Well-Architected Framework.
• Experience with backlog and documentation tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Azure DevOps.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Azure Arc.
• Proficiency with Azure Monitor and Application Insights.
