Description

You will lead end-to-end migrations from Azure DevOps to GitHub Enterprise and modernize application hosting within Azure PaaS.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead migration of Azure ADO/DevOps repositories to GitHub using GitHub Enterprise Importer (GEI) or equivalent tools.
• Manage application modernization and hosting across Azure App Services, Functions, AKS, and Containers.
• Analyze and optimize application performance, configuration, and dependency management in hybrid architectures.
• Troubleshoot migration and deployment issues, collaborating with GitHub support and internal teams.
• Provide technical leadership and architecture governance for application teams of 5+ members.

Required Skills

• 10+ years in software development and cloud architecture, including 6+ years in application development.
• Proven experience with GitHub Enterprise Cloud, Azure DevOps, and GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines.
• Expertise in Azure PaaS platforms (App Services, Functions, AKS, ACI).
• Strong skills in .NET, Java, Node.js, or Python with hands-on deployment experience.
• Deep understanding of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and application hosting.
• Experience scripting with PowerShell, Bash, or Python for automation and validation.
• Knowledge of API integrations, migration tooling, and large-scale repository transitions.
• Active NV1/2 Security Clearance (mandatory).

Preferred Skills

• Experience maintaining detailed documentation, validation checklists, and remediation logs.
