Description

Architect and implement enterprise-grade data solutions using Azure and the Databricks ecosystem.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Own the complete data platform lifecycle from requirements gathering and architecture design to deployment.
• Lead end-to-end Data Lakehouse implementations using Azure Databricks and Medallion Architecture.
• Build modern data platforms integrating Azure Data Factory, ADLS Gen2, SQL Database, and Microsoft Fabric.
• Mentor data engineers and promote best practices for PySpark, Python, and SQL development.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver scalable data solutions and drive capability building.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of overall IT experience with 4+ years hands-on in Azure and Databricks.
• Deep expertise in Databricks: PySpark, Notebooks, Unity Catalog, Delta Live Tables, Workflows, SQL Warehouse.
• Strong experience with Azure services: Azure Data Factory, ADLS Gen2, Event Hub, Stream Analytics, Cosmos DB.
• Proficient in Python and SQL with performance tuning and debugging skills.
• Experience designing metadata-driven data engineering frameworks.
• Understanding of data modeling (Dimensional & 3NF) and Azure infrastructure/security.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with LLM/GenAI-based application development.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines using Git, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps.
