You will design and implement strategies to optimize Azure resource allocation and minimize cloud expenditures while maintaining performance.
Responsibilities
Analyze workloads to forecast resource requirements and implement right-sizing strategies for underutilized or overprovisioned assets.
Deploy auto-scaling policies and optimize VM configurations, storage, and network resources to handle demand fluctuations.
Monitor Azure expenditures to identify cost drivers and implement cost-saving measures like Reserved Instances, Spot Instances, and Azure Hybrid Benefit.
Establish financial governance policies, resource group tagging, and automated reporting to track cloud usage and budgetary compliance.
Collaborate with application teams to perform load testing, benchmarking, and performance tuning to resolve resource bottlenecks.
Required Skills
5+ years of experience in cloud architecture and capacity management.
Expertise in Azure resource optimization and cost management strategies.
Proficiency in implementing auto-scaling, instance scheduling, and storage optimization.
Experience with Azure Reserved Instances, Spot Instances, and Azure Hybrid Benefit.
Ability to develop cost allocation tagging and resource group governance policies.
Skill in performance monitoring, load testing, and capacity benchmarking.
Proven track record of managing cloud financial governance and reporting.
