Description

You will design and implement strategies to optimize Azure resource allocation and minimize cloud expenditures while maintaining performance.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Analyze workloads to forecast resource requirements and implement right-sizing strategies for underutilized or overprovisioned assets.
• Deploy auto-scaling policies and optimize VM configurations, storage, and network resources to handle demand fluctuations.
• Monitor Azure expenditures to identify cost drivers and implement cost-saving measures like Reserved Instances, Spot Instances, and Azure Hybrid Benefit.
• Establish financial governance policies, resource group tagging, and automated reporting to track cloud usage and budgetary compliance.
• Collaborate with application teams to perform load testing, benchmarking, and performance tuning to resolve resource bottlenecks.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in cloud architecture and capacity management.
• Expertise in Azure resource optimization and cost management strategies.
• Proficiency in implementing auto-scaling, instance scheduling, and storage optimization.
• Experience with Azure Reserved Instances, Spot Instances, and Azure Hybrid Benefit.
• Ability to develop cost allocation tagging and resource group governance policies.
• Skill in performance monitoring, load testing, and capacity benchmarking.
• Proven track record of managing cloud financial governance and reporting.
• Degree in any graduate field.
