Description

Lead the architecture and design of scalable data platforms on Azure.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement data solutions using Azure Databricks, Synapse, and Data Lake.
• Develop and optimize data pipelines using PySpark and Azure Data Factory.
• Drive best practices in data governance, performance tuning, and scalable architecture.
• Mentor junior team members and collaborate with stakeholders to define data needs.
• Apply cloud DevOps practices for automated deployment and platform management.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of experience in data engineering and architecture.
• Deep expertise in Azure cloud services: Databricks, Synapse, Data Lake, ADF.
• Proficiency in Python and PySpark for complex data transformations.
• Hands-on experience with Lakehouse, Data Mesh, and modern data architectures.
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric and Azure DevOps.
• Understanding of LLM integration in data platforms.
• Strong stakeholder management and leadership skills.

Preferred Skills

• B.Tech, M.Tech, or M.Sc. in Computer Science or related fields.
