Description

Lead the migration of a front-end application from Rackspace to Azure, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead the migration from Rackspace to Azure using direct lifts and removing unnecessary components.
• Replicate and optimize Microsoft-based services within the Azure environment.
• Design and implement Azure infrastructure to support multiple front ends, databases, and file storage systems.
• Establish security measures and access controls following Azure best practices.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure a smooth application transition.

Required Skills

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Azure architecture.
• Proven track record of successful migrations from Rackspace or similar environments to Azure.
• Experience managing Microsoft-based services, databases, and file storage in Azure.
• Deep knowledge of Azure architecture and services.
• Ability to translate stakeholder requirements into scalable, secure Azure solutions.
• Strong project management and coordination skills.
• Effective communication and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
