Description

Design and manage the logical and physical cloud infrastructure to support application development and hosting.

Responsibilities

• Design complex architectures and transition states to achieve target cloud visions.
• Collaborate with cloud engineers to implement automation and deployment strategies for cloud infrastructure.
• Provide technical input on components that satisfy business, security, and regulatory objectives.
• Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and internal cross-functional teams to resolve technical constraints.
• Mentor junior team members on technical implementation and agile principles.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience in systems architecture, software architecture, and cloud initiative implementation using DevOps methodologies.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure.
• Proven ability to implement zero-downtime deployment strategies, such as blue/green or red/black deployments.
• Experience scaling applications horizontally and vertically, including multi-zone and multi-region configurations.
• Understanding of sync/async, BASE/ACID, and network architectures for various cloud topologies.
• Knowledge of security implications for public and private cloud infrastructure design.
• Familiarity with SLO, SLA, and OLA frameworks for cloud services.
• Understanding of software development lifecycles and cloud economics, including consumption-driven total cost of ownership.

Preferred Skills

• Microsoft Azure Architect certification or 2 years of specific Azure experience.
• TOGAF 9.2 Certification.
• Industry recognized architecture certification.
