Description

Manage and support end-to-end Azure cloud infrastructure in an onsite role in Washington, DC.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and manage Azure compute instances, backup services, storage, and monitoring tools.
• Manage Azure networking components including VNETs, subnets, NAT Gateways, and ExpressRoute.
• Expose internal applications to the public internet using cloud-native services like WAF and Front Door.
• Troubleshoot operational, infrastructure, network, and security issues using root cause analysis.
• Respond to system outages during off-hours and resolve issues within established service levels.

Required Skills

• At least 5 years of IT experience covering architecture, infrastructure, operating systems, and networking.
• 3+ years of hands-on Azure Cloud Administration experience.
• Azure Administrator certification.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Jenkins, and GitHub or Bitbucket.
• Strong knowledge of NSGs and Azure baseline security guidelines.
• Proficiency with PowerShell and basic knowledge of SQL database and IIS servers.
• Experience with immutable infrastructure, automation, and orchestration patterns.
• Ability to work onsite in Washington, DC.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with automation-focused remediation for infrastructure issues.
