Description

You will advise on Azure architecture and security for in-place migrations and refactoring.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Recommend migration strategies, covering lift and shift and cloud-native approaches within Azure.
• Conduct Azure testing to demonstrate minimal viable product of proposed architectures.
• Configure Azure services to meet agency-level objectives.
• Manage cloud-based security posture activities, including vulnerability remediation and encryption.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience designing cloud solutions meeting business requirements.
• 5+ years of strong knowledge with Azure network and storage architectures.
• 5+ years experience with Azure Services (e.g., Key Vault, Entra ID).
• 5+ years experience with Azure Functions, Web Apps/App Service, Containers, and micro-services.
• 5+ years demonstrating knowledge of cloud security principles, including zero-trust and conditional access.
• 5+ years architecting solutions that meet defined RPO and RTO objectives in Azure.
• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, utilizing Azure DevOps and GitHub Enterprise Cloud.
• 5+ years of experience as an on-premise architect.
• Strong communication skills to interact with technical and business staff.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of non-relational data storage products like Cosmos DB.
