Description

You will design and secure Azure cloud architectures, managing migrations and ensuring compliance with agency-level objectives.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Advise on Azure architecture and security for in-place migrations and refactoring.
• Recommend lift-and-shift and on-premise to cloud-native migration strategies.
• Design and test Azure architectures to demonstrate minimal viable products.
• Manage cloud security posture, including vulnerability remediation and perimeter defense.
• Document technical designs, position papers, and architecture specifications.

Required Skills

• 5+ years designing cloud solutions meeting business requirements.
• 5+ years strong knowledge of Azure network and storage architectures.
• 5+ years experience with Azure Services (Key Vault, Entra ID).
• 5+ years experience with Azure Functions, Web App/App Service, Containers, micro-services, and serverless architecture.
• 5+ years demonstrated knowledge of cloud security principles (zero-trust, segmentation, conditional access).
• 5+ years experience architecting solutions meeting defined RPO and RTO objectives in Azure.
• 5+ years experience in managing cloud-based security posture.
• 5+ years knowledge and experience in DevOps, including Azure DevOps and GitHub Enterprise Cloud.
• 5+ years experience as an on-premise architect.
• 5+ years strong communication skills, capable of engaging technical and business staff.
• 5+ years knowledge of data storage products like SQL Server and Oracle.
• 2+ years Microsoft Certification in Azure Solutions Architect.
