Description

You will design and advise on Azure architecture and security for agency initiatives.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Advise on architecture and security concerns for Azure, including in-place migrations and refactoring.
• Recommend migration strategies between lift and shift, on-premise, and cloud-native approaches within Azure.
• Conduct Azure testing to validate the minimal viable product of proposed architectures.
• Configure Azure services to meet agency-level objectives, primarily using Azure-based services.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of professional experience in an architecture role.
• 5+ years designing cloud solutions meeting business requirements.
• 5+ years with Azure network and storage architectures.
• 5+ years implementing Azure services (e.g., Azure Key Vault, Entra ID).
• 5+ years with Azure Functions, Web App/App Service, Containers, micro-services, and server-less architecture.
• 5+ years demonstrating knowledge of cloud security principles (zero-trust, segmentation, JIT access).
• 5+ years architecting solutions meeting defined RPO and RTO objectives in Azure.
• 5+ years experience in managing cloud security posture, including vulnerability remediation and encryption.
• 5+ years experience in DevOps, specifically using Azure DevOps and GitHub Enterprise Cloud.
• 5+ years experience as an on-premise architect.
• Microsoft Certification in Azure Solutions Architect (required).
• Strong communication skills, capable of engaging technical and business staff.
