Description

You will design and implement end-to-end cloud architectures on the Azure platform as an individual consultant.

Responsibilities

• Design new cloud architectures and technology frameworks focused on cloud computing and automation.
• Lead the creation of systems and services optimized for high availability and disaster recovery.
• Assess customer workloads and technology landscapes to develop cloud adoption roadmaps.
• Drive projects from an architectural standpoint while collaborating with customers and vendors.
• Implement best practices based on the Azure Well-Architected Framework.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of overall IT experience with at least 5 years as a Solutions Architect.
• Expertise in Azure Compute: VMs, Web Apps, Mobile Apps, and DevOps.
• Experience with Azure Storage: Blob, File, Queue, and Table storage.
• Proficiency in Azure Networking: VNet, VPN, Traffic Manager, ExpressRoute, and Load Balancer.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Databases: SQL, Postgres, Cosmos DB, and Oracle.
• Knowledge of Azure Security: AAD, NSG, ACL, Azure Key Vault, and Security Center.
• Experience with Migration tools: ASR, DMS, Azure Migrate, Cloud Endura, and Cloudamize.
• Ability to manage DR, Backup setup, and Monitoring using Azure Insights, Metrics, and Logs.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with GCP or AWS.
