Description

You will define the technology vision and provide architectural oversight across multiple concurrent projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Azure cloud architecture patterns in the divisional repository.
• Educate project teams on Azure technology options, cost implications, and benefits.
• Collaborate with centers of excellence to establish best practices and blueprints.
• Document cloud architectures and maintain Architecture Decision Records.
• Incorporate new Azure or Open-Source technologies into the Cloud Service Catalogue.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience architecting reporting, trading, or client-facing solutions.
• Deep expertise in Microsoft Azure technologies and their evolution.
• Hands-on experience with DevOps and CI/CD pipelines within Azure environments.
• Expertise in architecting for resiliency, including availability zones, regions, and data replication.
• Structured understanding of architecture methodologies and processes.
• Experience in Financial Services or a similar regulated industry.
• Strong communication skills for cross-team coordination.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Kubernetes (AKS), Apache Kafka, or Event Bus architectures.
• Experience with Snowflake or other cloud-based data platforms.
• Java Spring coding experience and cloud cost modeling.
