Description

Lead the rearchitecting of monolithic applications into microservices on Azure.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement cloud-native solutions using Azure API Management, AKS, and Azure DevOps.
• Modernize legacy systems into microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
• Orchestrate containerized workloads with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Define API design strategies and manage integrations using Kafka or Event Grid.
• Establish best practices for microservices architecture and serverless computing.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of IT experience, including 5-7 years in Azure cloud architecture.
• Deep expertise in Java development with the Spring Boot framework.
• Strong knowledge of J2EE technologies and microservices patterns.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Proficiency in Azure services, including Azure DevOps and API Management.
• Experience with database systems and serverless computing.
• Proven track record in greenfield development and brownfield modernization.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Apache Kafka or Azure Event Grid for event-driven integration.
• Background in enterprise-scale monolithic to microservices migrations.
