Description

You will lead the rearchitecting of monolithic applications into microservices on Azure.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement cloud-native solutions using Azure, including Azure API Management, AKS, and Azure DevOps.
• Refactor legacy J2EE/monolithic applications into scalable microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build containerized solutions using Docker and orchestrate them with Kubernetes.
• Implement integration solutions using Kafka and Event Grid.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of IT experience, with 5-7 years focused on Azure cloud architecture and microservices.
• Strong expertise in Java development and the Spring Boot framework.
• In-depth knowledge of microservices architecture patterns, principles, and best practices.
• Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes/AKS).
• Proficiency in Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with API design and management.
• Solid understanding of database systems and serverless computing.

Preferred Skills

• Experience modernizing brownfield enterprise solutions in greenfield environments.
• Background in J2EE technologies and frameworks.
