Description

You will design and implement end-to-end data warehouse architecture, driving data architect functions across the organization.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Own data modeling, data dictionary creation, and technical metadata establishment.
• Define data architecture functions, policies, and structures in partnership with application teams.
• Procure data governance tools and establish business glossaries and data quality rules.
• Lead business initiative projects independently by collaborating with analysts to create technical specifications.
• Review data code and guide development teams to improve implementation efficiency.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience handling Azure Cloud databases.
• 3+ years of experience managing large-volume enterprise-scale applications.
• Advanced knowledge of Azure SQL databases, Azure Analysis Services, and Synapse Analytics.
• Expertise in ETL/ELT tools such as SSIS, Azure Data Factory, and Data Pipelines.
• Experience with Microsoft Data architecture, Azure Synapse, and Data Fabric.
• Strong proficiency in SQL Server, MySQL, and cloud databases.
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD, and Git.
• Proven ability to design large-scale distributed architectures for OLTP and BI systems.
• Experience in Data Governance execution, including data profiling and CDQ rules.

Preferred Skills

• Experience handling sensitive information within the Banking or Healthcare industries.
• Exposure to other cloud platforms such as GCP or AWS.
